Invisalign® in Duncraig & Geraldton

A discreet way to straighten your smile with custom-made clear aligners.

Invisalign® uses a series of removable, custom-made clear aligners to gradually move your teeth into their planned positions. It’s a popular orthodontic treatment option for teenagers and adults looking for a more discreet alternative to traditional braces.

At Smileworx Orthodontics, our Specialist Orthodontists will carefully assess your smile and discuss whether Invisalign® is the most suitable treatment for your individual needs.

No referral is needed to book an assessment.

What Is
Invisalign® ?

Invisalign® is an orthodontic treatment that uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gently move your teeth over time. Each aligner is custom-made to fit your teeth and is replaced as your treatment progresses.

Unlike fixed braces, Invisalign® aligners can be removed for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing, making them a convenient option for many patients.

If you’re looking for an orthodontist in Duncraig or an orthodontist in Geraldton, our team can help determine whether Invisalign® is suitable for your smile.

Is Invisalign® Right for Me?

Invisalign® may be suitable for teenagers and adults who have:
Mild to more complex tooth alignment concerns
Crowded teeth
Spaces between teeth
Certain bite concerns
Previously completed orthodontic treatment with teeth that have shifted
A preference for a removable treatment option
The most appropriate treatment will depend on your orthodontic needs, lifestyle and clinical assessment.

We’ll explain whether Invisalign® is the most suitable option for your smile during your consultation.

What to Expect

1

X-Rays and Initial Imaging

If X-rays are needed, we'll usually arrange these on a separate day before your consultation. This gives your Specialist Orthodontist time to review your imaging in detail beforehand.

2

Consultation and Records

At your consultation, your Specialist Orthodontist will examine your teeth, bite and jaw alignment, and we'll take digital scans and photographs. Your orthodontist will personally review your records before inviting you back to discuss your personalised treatment recommendations.

3

Receiving Your Aligners

Once your treatment plan is ready, you'll receive your series of custom-made Invisalign® aligners, along with instructions on when to wear and change them. For the best results, aligners should be worn as recommended by your orthodontist.

4

Regular Progress Appointments

We'll see you periodically throughout treatment to monitor your progress and make sure your teeth are moving as planned.

5

Retaining Your Smile

After treatment is complete, retainers are generally recommended to help maintain your new smile.

Treatment duration and suitability vary depending on each individual’s orthodontic needs.
